The Spanish solar mounting company Praxia Energy has announced that it shipped 90MW of its PV mounting frames to the UK.

The  majority of the solar mounting systems shipped to the UK will be used in utility-scale solar farms. In addition to strong demand from the UK, Praxia Energy will be increasing its volume by 40MW from March next year after increased orders from France, Italy, Germany and Chile.

The directors of the company believe that Praxia’s increasingly diversified portfolio is a reflection of solar PV’s maturity, as it moves into a competitive source of electricity both for utility-scale solar farms, and residential where additional benefits such as distributed generation come into play.

The 90MW shipment is expected to boost Praxia Energy’s turnover to over €9 million.
